This footage depicting the outcry over a sudden rise in gas prices affecting millions of Haitians is used as a back drop to underscore Gerard's belief that this country--his country can do better. He simply asks, 'Kot lwa pey m yo!" (Where is the law (order) in my country!)
GUITAR GALLERY. The guitar held a special meaning in the life and work of Gerard Magloire, as it served as a conduit for all of his thoughts, dreams, fears and emotions. In good times and bad, the guitar always produced a beautiful melody that provided healing and a spiritual connection to the world around him.
